Santa Cruz Designer has London Debut
Jill Alexander, whose workshop is in the Sash Mill complex, had her London debut Thursday at the Curves in Couture show.
Laura Edens, who does marketing for , said she was thrilled with the response from international buyers in London. Jill Alexander was the only American designer invited to this exclusive fashion show, one of the four biggest in the world.
She writes:
"Jill was a standout and was mobbed by the press last night. Caroline Rush, president of the British Fashion Council, was particularly impressed with Jill's work and several international buyers have expressed interest in her line. We will see what comes of this, but I have a feeling there is no looking back. It was exciting to witness."
