Get Your Hot Dogs and Cats

The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter (SCCAS) is experiencing an overload of animals at their shelter and are desperate to find forever homes for adoptable animals.  Adopting out animals helps open up space at their open-admission shelter for other local animals that need Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter’s help.  To encourage more animal adoptions, the adoption price for all dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and rabbits is only $25 through September 2013!

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip (including registration), age appropriate vaccinations, Felv/FIV testing (for cats), license (for dogs), routine treatment for fleas/worms, and a free pet wellness exam with local participating veterinarians.

SCCAS is also asking the community to “pay it forward” to their community’s neediest animals by also donating at least $25 to one of the following funds:

SCCAS is currently very full with beautiful cats, kittens, dogs, puppies and rabbits waiting for a forever home.  Open your heart and home by adopting a companion animal for a $25 adoption fee and a minimum $25 donation to help the local homeless animals in your community.
