Earth Day Celebration for Santa Cruz County

The City of Santa Cruz, the County of Santa Cruz, Ecology Action, Save Our Shores, local non-profits, and concerned citizens work together to make Earth Day Santa Cruz the premier environmental event for the greater Santa Cruz community, with educational information, activities for kids, live music and a focus on green businesses. Come join us for this fun-filled celebration!  

Events include

11am: Peter Weiss, the Singing Scientist
Eco-music for kids & fun science demonstrations

12:30pm: The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship “Just in Time” Choir
Earth themed songs led by Gail Swain

1pm: SqueezeDaddy
Local Santa Cruz band performing toe-tapping New Orleans Blues, Zydeco, and Mardi Gras tunes

2pm: Kid Zone Award Show
10 local schools compete for prizes with their Earth Day projects
