Executive Director of SC Homeless Services Center Pens Farewell

Friend, 

It has been a privilege to serve our community as the Executive Director of the Homeless Services Center over the last four years.  During this time, I have had the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated and passionate staff, Board members, and supporters to transform the way that Santa Cruz County addresses homelessness.  

Together, we have proven that homelessness is solvable, and we are moving rapidly in that direction. 

Although today is my last day in my current role, I will continue to be involved in countywide efforts to end homelessness such as 180/180 and Smart Solutions to Homelessness.  

Additionally, beginning July 15, I will be diving in to my new role as CEO of Encompass Community Services, and I am thrilled about the opportunity to tackle some of our county’s largest social issues in this new capacity. 

During my transition, our Director of Programs and Director of Operations will be holding the organization’s executive roles, with support from our Board Chair. Their information is below:

The last four years have been an incredibly awesome and transformative ride, and I am so grateful for all that I have learned from each of you.  Together we are building a movement to treat all people with dignity and equity, and the future potential is limitless. Thank you!
