Is Santa Cruz County just not that into lights for the holidays? A long drive around town found a couple of great exhibits, but you can see more in two blocks of San Jose than in our whole city.

Are we too environmentally conscious to do lights? Are we too cool?

Are we all away on vacations?

What's your answer?

Meanwhile, Patch caught two great lighted homes Thursday night. Add your best shots!

If the lights result from solar energy and are recycled once they have outlived their owners, I have no objection to them.

So, why didn't the author simply use http://www.lightsofthevalley.com/Properties/Santa_Cruz.asp to find the two really nice houses verified for 2011. Can anyone verify if 924 Columbia St is lit up this year? if so, send details and photos to lights@LightsOfTheValley.com !!! THANKS !!!!
