It Rained on Pleasure Point Thursday, Thanks to "Of Men and Mavericks"
Movie magic had it pouring rain outside Pleasure Pizza.
A lot of the food in "Of Men and Mavericks" must be triangular.
The crew of the Hollywood depiction of surfer Jay Moriarity has spent three nights filming at Pleasure Point Pizza. They worked until 5 a.m. Thursday and were back at it again Thursday evening.
Ever wonder how they made it rain in movies? Passersby on 41st Avenue saw them use a giant crane with what looked like big sprinklers on top disperse perfect rain drops.
