Magical Outdoor Dance in Magical Outdoor Setting - This Weekend at Mt. Hermon

The International Academy of Dance Santa Cruz will perform Woodland Fairy Tale at 4 p.m. June 7 and 8.

An outdoor extravaganza -- complete with faeries, hip-hop frogs, Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood -- will be presented by a local dance troupe this Saturday and Sunday.

The International Academy of Dance Santa Cruz will perform Woodland Fairy Tale at 4 p.m. June 7 and 8 at the Mount Hermon Conference Center -- across from Roaring Camp on an outdoor stage build for dance.

Lawn seating is free, and for reserved seats and lawn space, visit www.IADance.com.

The enchanted tale captured in dance and poetry is a time-old story of an overworked, stressed-out workaholic transported to the redwoods by magical ladybugs and a skunk. This fellow finds himself in the middle of the forest without a cell phone signal and must find a way to cope with an evil witch of a boss haunting him from afar.

Along the way he meets woodland creatures, fairy tale icons and his true love.

Presented by International Academy of Dance, the story is told through many dance forms, including, Classical Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz and Tap.

Bring a picnic or just enjoy the outdoors!

Reserved seats and close-in reserved lawn space for the perfect perspective are available for purchase at www.IADance.com.

It is recommended to bring your own lawn chair or blanket (for reserved seats, chairs will be provided).
