Santa's Village Documentary: The Lost Parks of Northern California

A documentary on long lost Santa's Village. Watch it here.

From Kris Rowberry:

It all began with you, Brad! Thanks for picking us up a few months ago!!!

No doubt you've driven under the "Santa's Village Road" sign on Highway 17 before - but have you ever wondered why it's named that?

Well, myself and my friend Nicholas Laschkewitch have created a video series to tell the stories of these bygone amusements, called "The Lost Parks of Northern California" and are proud to debut our video on Santa's Village today.

The series follows myself as I try to find original amusement park sites, as well as locations of items that link back to the park in today's world. Many have likened our journey to that of Huell Howser, only based solely in amusement and theme parks.

Santa's Village is unique, in that it's final piece (a barn from the 1930's) is slated for demolition any day now.

We were recently featured by the San Jose Mercury News, as well as the Huffington Post

Both myself and Nicholas are proud members of the American Coaster Enthusiasts, an organization dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of amusement parks and roller coasters.

We'd love to tell our stories of re-discovering Santa's Village - in addition to the many other fascinating tales of parks long gone. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon!

Best Regards,
