"It's yours to lose," American Idol judge Randy Jackson told Santa Cruz American Idol contender James Durbin after a tearful performance of Harry Nilsson's "Without You."
The Capitola audience on 41st Avenue went nuts, too, cheering their local hero—on TV, of course.
If Durbin makes the final three, he will give a local performance, most likely at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk by May 15. Plans are being discussed on the down low, waiting for the results.

Durbin also sang "Closer to the Edge" by 30 Seconds to Mars.
The festivities at Pizza My Heart included Starz cupcakes with Durbin's face on them.
