Why go: Do you have any secrets about Santa Cruz that some may find fascinating? Now you can share untold stories with others and help recreate history by being a part of a ‘work in progress’ exhibition, and contribute to the ‘building stories, secret spatial histories of Santa Cruz,’ workshop. A large concept map will be drawn out on the wall of the meeting space and used to record these ongoing gatherings. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

Why go: Novel writer James Baldwin of "Go tell it on the Mountain," has written his first play to be performed by The African-American Theatre Arts Troupe at UC Santa Cruz. Issues of racial prejudicism, religion and poverty will be addressed in this three-act play.
