Bag It Screening

Please join us for a special screening of the award-winning environmental documentary Bag It. Bag It follows "everyman" Jeb Berrier as he tries to make sense of our dependence on plastic bags. Although his quest starts out small, Jeb soon learns that the problem extends past landfills to oceans, rivers, and ultimately humans. The City of Santa Cruz Public Works Department will give a brief presentation following the film about plastic reduction and recycling in Santa Cruz. A limited number of reusable produce bags will be given away and additional bags will be available for a nominal cost.
