Obreht has gained international praise for this debut novel, now available in paperback. In fact, at 25, she is the youngest author ever to have won Britain’s acclaimed Orange Prize. The Tiger’s Wife was also a runner up for this year’s National Book Award and The New York Times recently listed it as one of their top ten books of the year.
