The "Fabled Creatures" show is a collaboration between store owner Scarlett Fiona Reed and artist Elsbeth Inglett, bringing together their love for unique treasures and whimsical stories. Join us for delicious snacks, quenching beverages, and tantalizing artworks!
Scarlett Fiona Reed
Scarlett has a quirky sense of art humor, and is so happy to have found a town that supports and appreciates that. She has been hard at work on 3D creatures that are currently having a party of their own in her living room. Celebrate midtown with us, Saffron and Genevieve will be transformed into a fairytale wonderland for the month of April, and Friday the 6th it’s the place to be.
Elsbeth Inglett
Elsbeth loves a great many things in this wondrous world, a few of which are: tall tales, worn spine-broken books, creative collaborations, creatures of all shapes and sizes (real and imaginary), the hum of her fiancés’ electric typewriter, hunting for material castaways, the smell of wood, dress-up parties, and knowing that she will never know everything life has to teach. This art show, “Fabled Creatures”, is a tribute to all of these things. Elsbeth is a born and bred San Diegan, but has a deep relationship with the entirety of the California Coast; she is excited to call Santa Cruz her new home.
