“Loudon generates more energy than a small windfarm…” – BBC
The patriarch of one of America’s most musical families, Loudon Wainwright III has found a crafty balance between cultish humor and hi-brow Grammy-winning songcraft. Not many songwriters can do much with a song titled “Dead Skunk,” but Wainwright turned it into a bona-fide hit! The man who once sold his guitar for yoga lessons has now become one of the most distinguished statesmen of folk music. He’s fresh off the release of his box set, titled 40 Odd Years and newest album titled Older Than My Old Man Now.
