Visibly Invisible: Art Exhbit

While the issue of gay marriage has kept everyone on the edge of their emotional roller coaster seats, and, thankfully, there's been progress made, the newest Cabrillo Gallery art exhibit is further exploring sexual politics and transgenderism. Photography by Jana Marcus, video by Sheila Malone, paintings and drawings by Boston's Cobi Moules, 3D pieces by New Orleans' Mark Sizeler, and a film by San Francisco's Shani Heckman make up the month-long, multi-media affair that boldly addresses gender stereotypes. "Visibly Invisible: Art and Transgender Subjectivity" will be on display through the month of October, with an opening reception on Thursday, September 30th.
