If you are reading this, here are some ideas. If you aren't reading this....where are you?

So, some rascal predicted the Rapture was coming today...and...you know he'll have some other scam ready to go tomorrow.

But if you are here, it's a great day to celebrate life in the Cruz.

1. Celebrate Staff of Life's 42nd Anniversary serving food to keep you healthy while you are still here on Earth. There will be samples, gourmet tastings, wine and music at the new store at 1266 Soquel Ave., from noon to 4:30 p.m.

3. Celebrate the opening of the Beach Boardwalk with skydivers,  Cirque Polynesians and the Family Stone without Sly, who is already at the Rapture.
