Joan Baez Concert at Rio Sold Out; Space Available On Sponsor Wait List

The May 9 performance is a special benefit for The Resource Center for Nonviolence of Santa Cruz.

Joan Baez is appearing in a rare performance May 9 at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cuza -- as a benefit for the Resource Center for Nonviolence's "Building for the Future" campaign.

This benefit is the public launch of the RCNV campaign to fund the renovation of its 50-year-old building. On Saturday, May 10 at 612 Ocean St., an open house, dedication and fundraiser will commence at 11 a.m. (Details here.)

According to the Rio ticketing site, the Gold Circle and general admission tickets are sold out, however, a limited number of sponsorship seats ($100 per ticket or more) are available only by contacting the Resource Center for Nonviolence directly or 831-423-1626.
