Santa Cruz Film Festival Gala Saturday Night
Almost a month before the festival starts, film freaks will meet at the Top of the Ritt for a grand celebration.
The theme is old Hollywood and this mysteriously empty building is the perfect place for the kickoff of the Santa Cruz Film Festival.
The complete lineup will be announced and there will be passes for sale and a benefit auction. There will be food and music by by Flor de Caña and salsa lessons by SalsaRuedaSantaCruz. The evening kicks off at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets are on sale at http://www.santacruzfilmfestival.org/ The Festival announced the local debut of Prairie Love, called one of the year's top 10 must see movies by Coed Magazine. It's a Coen Brothers meets Napolean Dynamite comedy about a man rescued in a blinding snowstorm while he is trying to meet up with the pen pal he has fallen in love with.
