Santa Cruz was on Fire Friday Night as the Glow Exhibit Brought Thousands Downtown

It was the latest in art with fire and light as the media, like the local version of Burning Man

People who think art should be quietly hung on walls must have had their heads explode Friday night, as the Museum of Art and History rounded up a bunch of fire and light artists and turned the plaza outside into a mini Burning Man exhibit.

GLOW brought families and artists trying the latest media together. There was a surprise around every corner. The pictures and videos say more than any review can.

It continues tonight, Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is $10 or $5 for members.
