#Sharknado Strikes Santa Cruz Friday Night

A freak hurricane hits Southern California and suddenly sharks are swimming in the streets.





The made-for-TV movie that took social media by storm will play on the big screen for one night only—midnight Friday. 

Sharknado will be screened in 200 cities across the U.S., including more than a dozen coastal California towns. Santa Cruz is on the list. 

Cassie ScerboIan ZieringTara Reid, and John Heard star in the disaster flick. A tornado scoops up sharks and dumps them in Los Angeles, setting up an epic battle between man and the ocean's fiercest predator. 

Sharknado plays at midnight Friday at Regal Cinemas 9 on Pacific Avenue. Buy tickets (they're $12.50) here.
