Reminder: Tickets go on Sale Friday for ¡Green Day! at the Civic

The Bay Area's most famous punk band plays the Santa Cruz Civic Dec. 4. Tickets go on sale Friday.

Green Day, the punk trio that started in Berkeley clubs and pizza parlors and graduated to giant stadiums, will do an intimate show in Santa Cruz December 4.

The band will be promoting the release of its triple disc set, "¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tre!" It will start with small shows and move to arenas in 2013. The band is giving away a digital copy of "¡Uno!" with each $52 ticket bought online.

Tickets go on sale at AXS.com  at 10 a.m. Friday. Green Day fan club members can buy tickets on Wednesday. You can join the fanclub here.

The band will also be on Good Morning America Sept. 14.
