Santa Cruz Police Request Help Identifying Burglary Suspect

The Santa Cruz Police Department is looking for a suspect who burglarized Top A Lot Yogurt on Water St. early last Friday morning, July 19. In images from the store's video surveillance system the suspect appears to be a white male with short dark hair, wearing a light colored front-zip hoodie with a logo on the back and dark pants. Police say the suspect used two large rocks to smash a glass front door before entering and taking a bank bag containing cash. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz Police Department Investigations Section at (831) 420-5820. Tipsters may also leave an anonymous tip by calling a tip line at (831) 420-5995 or using the police department's mobile iPhone and Android App.
