Santa Cruz's first nut store, , is celebrating its anniversary Monday by giving away special packets of free trail mix to anyone who stops by from 4-6 p.m. at 104 Lincoln St.
They also have a contest to come up with a new combination of nuts, fruits, seeds and granola, according to a press release:
"From April 23 thru end of May we will be holding a contest in store or via email for the best trail mix kreation.
The best kreation is determined based on complementary flavors & the right combination of nuts, dried fruit, seeds, granola, or any of our other 120 selections.
Don't be afraid to get Kreative! Trail Mix pros & owners Brody and Mina Feuerhaken will determine the best Kreation and name a mix after the Kreator. Aside from their own mix name sold at the store, the winner will receive 1 lb of their kreation as well as a $25.00 gift certificate to our store."
