"Sunset at Surf City" - A Wine & Food Faire (A Fundraiser for Second Harvest Food Bank)

Wine and dine outdoors in sustainable style at the Surf City Vintners’ second annual “Sunset at Surf City Vintners - Food & Wine Faire” on the Westside of Santa Cruz. Choose from two dates or come to both this year, on July 14 and August 18, 2012.

It's a dinner market. It's an urban picnic. It's a community banquet, and will feature many local food vendors; the wineries of the Surf City Vintners pouring their wines; and live music with the Cabrillo Jazz All Stars. Food and wine will be sold by each vendor; there is no additional entry fee. Guests are encouraged to bring their own plates, utensils and wine glasses in support of sustainable practices. The Faire will be held in the parking lot near Copious Winery and Equinox at 427 Swift Street, from 5:00-8:00.

Surf City Vintners is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank with the goal to raise funds from this event for 9600 meals for children in Santa Cruz County who may not be getting regular meals while they are out of school this summer. Monetary donations are encouraged to help meet this goal for the Food for Children campaign.
