The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a recall of Trois Comtois Morbier cheese by Whole Foods Market because it could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Listeria can cause high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Infections can be fatal in young children, the elderly or people with weakened immune systems. It has also been linked to miscarriages and stillbirths.
