Take a good look at these before pictures...because after Tuesday at 6 p.m., it will all be different.
Ed Hoffman, who has owned at 1102 Pacific Ave., since 2001, was picked for a restaurant makeover by the Food Channel show Restaurant: Impossible.
On Sunday the Hollywood crew moved in, taking over the back parking lot and setting up lights, camera and action in the restaurant.
Monday, they filmed and interviewed the last random diners eating in what will be the old Hoffman's. Tuesday at 6 p.m., after a $10,000 makeover, the first meals in the new place will be served.
Hoffman used to work at the Old Theater Cafe and continues its tradition of fine, European-style baked goods.
The restaurant has a big lunch and breakfast crowd, but he wants to entice more people in for dinner. Here's the old dinner menu.
