Workshop Will Help Stop Senior Scams

Assemblyman BIll Monning will co-sponsor a workshop on how not to get ripped-off.

There are financial predators who target seniors, and cases of fraud against them are on the rise.

And, no, they aren't just writing emails from Nigeria. They are faking charities, auto warranties, insurance and home repair.

Saturday in Santa Cruz there will be a workshop warning seniors (and anyone else) about how these scams work.
