Which Long Gone Santa Cruz Restaurant Do You Miss Most?

Der Wienerschnitzel sits like an eyesore but brings back some happy memories. Which restaurant from Santa Cruz's past do you miss the most?

I have fond memories of Seychelles, back when it was in the courtyard behind Bookshop Santa Cruz, before the 1989 earthquake. It was exotic and romantic.

That's when the Pergolesi was also in that courtyard and the first place I'd ever heard the words iced latte, my future drug of choice.

Does anyone have pictures of that courtyard? How about pictures of your favorite long gone places for a restaurant-cooked meal.

Remember when Omei shared a building with a breakfast place? Was it the Swan? Help me here.

I remember the pressed tofu there and miss that meal which was taken off the menu in the new Omei. That was my first taste of tofu I truly loved. It was so pressed, it was like meat and made it easier to be a vegetarian.
