Make it yours! Public input sought on planning the new Rail/Trail project.

Where should the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail Network alignment be? Where should the many paths connect? YOU can help shape it! Come to one of three community meetings to have your say.

The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) is currently planning for the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail Network (Trail Network). This project merges plans for a bicycle/pedestrian trail along the rail line, including coastal alignments and neighborhood spurs, into a connected network that will overlap and converge to provide safe and convenient route choices. The trail will serve transportation, recreation, and interpretive uses for walkers, joggers, bicyclists, families, locals, and visitors.

Where should this Trail Network be placed exactly? Where should the paths connect? YOU can help shape it!

Attend one of three community workshops and help shape trail network alignments and paths. December 13th (Pacific Elementary School, Davenport), December 14th (Simpkins Swim Center, Live Oak), and December 15th (Watsonville Civic Building Community Room- Spanish translator available).
