In this week's , 70 voters cast their ballots for the best place in all of Santa Cruz County to take mom for Mother’s Day brunch.
And the winner is: Capitola's with 35 votes (50 percent).
Coming in second was Santa Cruz , with 13 votes (18 percent), and third was also in Santa Cruz, with 10 votes (14 percent).
Also receiving some of the votes were the with five, with four, with two, and with one.
All of these places will be offering special brunch items for mom’s big day. Be sure and get your reservations in as soon as possible though because spaces fill up fast.
Next week’s Readers’ Choice will be Best Spa. The voting begins at 4 a.m. on Monday.
