Slide Show: The First Pleasure Point Faire was a Big Hit

Great music and food and a clientele that favored wheels and beach outfits made the Pleasure Point Street Faire a lot of fun. Portola Drive was closed between 38th Street and 41st Ave so people could eat, skateboard, buy clothes and hear music.

Despite some major electrical problems when musical headliner the Mermen played and blew fuses several times, they pulled it together and had the crowd dancing.
