3rd Friday: Art That Moves

Run, cycle, dance, jump, skate or skip on down to the MAH for a night of moving art. For all you surfing-hopefuls, bring your own skateboard and take a ride on a giant blue tarp wave. It’s got all the perks of surfing (mainly, a great photo opportunity) with none of the judgmental pros watching on. Or sharks.

We’re guessing this could also be the first time you’ve seen a steamroller get driven over woodblocks to make custom prints. You can make your own, buy someone else’s, or just stand by for the ride in Abbott Square. Make giant bubbles, moving mobiles, spin bike art, action painting and kinetic sculptures. Activate your body as a moving art form and learn a few dance moves, jump into gymnastics or make skateboard art.
