Bleu and Virgil Thrasher at Davenport Roadhouse

Bleu (Gil Cadalli) and Virgil Thrasher play vintage Blues, Gospel, and an eclectic sampling of Rhythm and Blues. Cadalli and Thrasher played together in J.B. and the Nightshift, a Santa Cruz-based blues band during the 80s. Gil played bass for Charlie Musselwhite for six years and was introduced to slide guitar and the Delta Blues by Blues legend Robert Lowery. Virgil also played and recorded with Lowery as well and later with Rev. Rabia of Berkeley. Family friendly venue just 10 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz. No cover.
