Change your DNA through Food!

Concerned about a family history of cancer, Alzheimers or other disease? Or what lies hidden in your genetic code?  According to a growing branch of science called Nutritional Genomics, we may be able to alter our future by eating the right foods now.  Our genes are not static; they are constantly adjusting based on the conditions of our bodies, the environment, and one’s nutrition.

Find out about your own self and get ready to change your genetic future as Chef Zachary Mazi of Food is Medicine gives a lecture and cooking demonstration.

Part 1 on Nov. 13, 6 – 8 pm will focus on knowing thyself and Part 2 will be about preparing foods specific for your genome.

The cost is $50 (includes both classes) and preregistration is required. To register visit www.newleafwestside.eventbrite.com or call 426-1306
