Escape the Black Friday shopping frenzy and enjoy the day after
Thanksgiving with the Surf City Vintners. Relax while you sip
wine and shop for handcrafted gifts made by local artisans. The
Surf City Vintners group of wineries are on the Westside of
Santa Cruz on Ingalls Street, Swift Street, and the Old Sash
Mill: Equinox Champagne Cellar; MJA Vineyards; Odonata Wines;
Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard (including Quinta Cruz); Silver
Mountain; Sones Cellars; Storrs Winery and Vineyards; Trout
Gulch Vineyards.
Bring food donations for the Walnut Avenue Women’s Center in
Santa Cruz, and the wineries will donate a portion of their
tasting fees that day to the Center.
This is the fourth year for the holiday art and wine bazaar, a
day of local wine, local art and local giving.

As well, visitors to Surf City Vintners can shop at numerous
boutique shops in neighboring converted warehouse space, and
find lunch or snacks at West End Tap and Kitchen, El
Salchichero, New Leaf Grocery, Kelly’s Bakery, Iveta Bakery, and
Companion Bakery.
The Surf City Vintners group of ten boutique wineries, most
within walking distance, offers a vibrant urban wine tasting
experience in renovated warehouse spaces. The area has become a
hip example of urban renewal. The wineries showcase the wines
of a group of leading winemakers of the Santa Cruz Mountains,
and are small, family-owned and operated local businesses.
Visitors often meet and talk directly with the winemakers.
