Diane Schuur

Diane Schuur’s inspired vocal delivery has won legions of admirers since her days as a young, precocious upstart from Tacoma. She burst upon the scene seemingly full-grown as a talent whose enthusiastic performances evoked comparisons to vocal greats such as Dinah Washington (an early influence) and Ella Fitzgerald. In over three decades of recording, she has won two Grammy Awards and was nominated for three more. She has performed, or collaborated, with a long list of jazz and pop artists ranging from Count Basie and Maynard Ferguson to Barry Manilow and B.B.
