A major retrospective of the late painter, printmaker and sculptor Manuel Santana, will be open to the public for the first time Saturday and Sunday, November 3 & 4 from 1 to 5pm.

Santana (1927-2008)  was not only a prolific and gifted artist, but was also a fine chef and restaurateur, (Manuel's in Aptos and Jardines de San Juan in San Juan Bautista).

More than 100 paintings, prints and sculpture, created throughout his career, will be shown at his studio. This is the first time such a large collection of Santana's work has been shown publically. Santana's artwork features his eclectic iconography, brilliant handling of color and ever-present social commentary.
