Introduction to Laser Cutting

Introduction to Laser Cutting:

A laser cutter takes an incredibly powerful beam of focused light to slice through materials as dense as acrylic plastic, automatically and precisely. In this camp, you’ll learn about this versatile machine and create designs to be cut and/or engraved, using the free and open-source 2D vector graphics program, Inkscape (inkscape.org). Create custom game tokens, slot-together containers, tessalated pattern pieces, custom name plaques, or your own unique invention!

For kids aged 9-12
