Shop at any New Leaf today in Santa Cruz or Capitola and help Second Harvest Food Bank provide nutritious food for those in need. 5% of the day's sales at New Leaf in Santa Cruz and Capitola will be donated to the Food Bank, which works to end hunger and malnutrition in our county by educating and involving the community. Through their network of more than 200 agencies and programs and over 3,000 volunteers, the Food Bank distributes over eight million pounds of food annually. Over half of the people they serve are children.
Even though the economy is improving, the cost of housing has risen dramatically. More people may need the food bank’s help this fall and winter.
