RADD® Celebrates New Partnership with UC Santa Cruz

UC Santa Cruz has just joined forces with RADD® ‒ “The Entertainment Industry’s Voice for Road Safety”—in support of their fight against drunk driving. UC Santa Cruz students will soon receive their new materials to start promoting the program around campus and will enjoy a campus visit by the RADD car, a Toyota Scion xB (donated by Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A.) on October 31. The brightly wrapped vehicle serves as a rolling billboard to promote sober driving on California highways and is manned with RADD volunteers who will share RADD’s mission to promote alcohol-free driving through RADD's Designated Driver Rewards Program. The volunteers will also be giving students a RADD card, which lists participating establishments who provide incentives, such as non-alcoholic drinks, to students who serve as designated drivers. All RADD Participating Establishments receive free listings on RADD cards, regional websites and campus directories connected with the program. Visit www.collegeisRADD.org for complete list of RADD participating establishments.
