Rob Siegel book signing at the Capitola Book Cafe

Rob Siegel, author of the acclaimed new book Memoirs of a Hack Mechanic will be appearing at the Capitola Book Cafe on Tuesday, August 20th at 7:30 PM.

At this event, part of his national tour to promote his new book, Siegel will be reading from his book, signing copies and talking with people about his insights on the mind of a "car guy."

Memoirs of a Hack Mechanic was published in June to wide acclaim by Bentley Publishers, with The Boston Globe calling it "one of the best auto memoirs I've read in a long time." In his book Siegel, renowned for his many years writing the Hack Mechanic column for the BMW magazine Roundel, shares his secrets to buying, fixing, and driving cool cars without risking the kids’ tuition money or destroying your marriage. Memoirs of a Hack Mechanic also includes do-it-yourself advice passed down from many years of owning and fixing dozens of cars in his garage (and sometimes his kitchen table!)
