Play in the street on West Cliff Drive!

The 2nd Annual Santa Cruz Open Streets is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 13, 2013, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz from Lighthouse Field to Natural Bridges State Park.

This unique, FREE, and family-friendly event temporarily blocks car traffic for people to bicycle, walk and play through the closed street in a safe, fun and CAR-FREE environment. Along the route there will be free activities (e.g. Zumba, hula hooping and climbing), music performances, food trucks and resources for healthy and sustainable living.

Win a Giant bicycle! New this year: All participants who bicycle, walk, carpool (3 or more to a car), or take the bus to SCOS can enter a FREE RAFFLE to win a Giant bicycle and other great prizes.

Join a “Feeder” Bicycle Ride! Visit the website to learn about group "Feeder" bike rides to SCOS from your neighborhood!

Park in designated lots (not neighborhood streets) and you’ll get a special treat when you visit the Open Streets booth and tell them where you parked.
