Tai Chi Chuan Classes Thursdays, 6:30am - 8am

Healing and self-protection go hand in hand with the development of tai chi movement theory and energy work in class. Deep study of Tai Chi Chuan will reveal its holistic approach to the body-mind-spirit connection. Exploration of Qi Gong, Yin-Yang philosophy, dynamic opposites, cyclical patterns, and how it relates to Tai Chi Chuan will be touched upon as well.

Every student will learn the Chen style Silk Reeling exercises and the Yang style short form, however multiple training styles and exercises will be occasionally explored to fit each students needs. Chen style Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Philosophy, and combat applications will be taught at intermediate and advanced levels.
