Testicle Festival

Ever had a chance to try rocky mountain oysters? Well now is
your chance. Join the Young farmers and ranchers committee of the Santa Cruz
County Farm Bureau
for the annual Testicle Festival held Saturday August 24th
at 3pm at Estrada Deer Camp in Watsonville. Buy your tickets now and find out

            All
you can eat rocky mountain oysters as hors d’oeuvres; the meal will include
chicken, salad, bread and dessert. Tickets are $40 dollars for adults, $20
dollars for children ages 5-12 and free for children under 5. The day begins at
3pm with beer, wine, hor d’oeuvres and a silent auction, dinner will be served
at 4:45. Also enjoy live music by the band No Respects, a live auction, raffle
drawing, a horseshoe contest and more.



This year will be the second annual
“All in the Sauce” contest. Attendees are welcome to bring a quart of their own
homemade spicy, ethnic, sweet, or savory sauce paired with a clever name. This
years contest will have two divisions, amateur and commercial. These divisions
allow for home cookers and professionals to compete in different categories. Restaurants
such as the Shadowbrook, California kitchen, and Café Sparrow will be
competing.
