"Meet Your Match" Pet Adoption

On February 11, 2012, Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter (SCCAS) will host its 2nd Annual St. Valentine’s "Meet Your Match" Pet Adoption event at SCCAS’ Santa Cruz location, 2200 7thAvenue from 9:00 am to 5:30 p.m. The goals of the event are to adopt dogs, cats and rabbits into new homes, offer low-cost services to the community and bring awareness to the SCCAS facility as a place to adopt a new pet. Participants are invited to come to Santa Cruz County’s largest animal shelter to meet SCCAS’s four-legged singles and “match-up” with the pet of their dreams this Valentine’s Day weekend!  All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip (including registration), age appropriate vaccinations, Felv/FIV testing (cats), routine treatment for fleas/worms, dog license (dogs), a free pet wellness exam with local participating veterinarians, collar and leash (dogs), and cat carrier (cats).  Also, the Center for Animal Protection and Education (CAPE), one of SCCAS’ valued “placement partners,” will be joining us with adoptable dogs from their organization,www.capeanimals.org. Also, we are offering special values for our pet-loving community: 

  • Half-Price Adoptions All Day:  9:00 am to 5:30 pm
 
  • Professional Pet Photography by David Reese Photography: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
