US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 6-10 Capitola, will have a public information booth next to the Santa Cruz Harbor launch ramp on Sunday, 20 May from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Free Vessel Safety Checks will be offered for vessels on trailers or in the water. Free literature will be available regarding clean environment, paddle/kayak information, Federal Regulations, etc. Sign up information will be available for upcoming boating classes and Auxiliary membership.
There will be static displays of the Coast Guard 25’ Rescue Boat Small or the 47’Motor Life Boat from Station Monterey, and an Auxiliary Patrol Boat from Santa Cruz for public view and information.
California Department of Fish and Game will have an information table next to the Auxiliary display for questions and information about fishing, the environment, etc.
