Free eWaste Recycling Drive is Wednesday

You can get an early start on your spring cleaning by getting rid of old electronics you no longer use.

A free eWaste recycling drive will be held Wednesday, February 6 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Staff of Life Natural Foods parking lot at 1266 Soquel Avenue.

Is there a plug on your waste or recycling? This is your event to dispose of old electronics and other media. Televisions, old computers, even holiday lights that no longer work will be accepted. This is a chance for you to dispose of your unwanted items sustainably.

Members of the California Grey Bears will be in the parking lot assisting in the dropoff. The event is part of Staff of Light's Green Days celebration.

Started in 1969, Staff of Life is now a Santa Cruz tradition.  The store has been locally owned and managed for over 43 years.  The store has been officially certified by the City of Santa Cruz as a Green Building and the Public Works Department has recognized Staff of Life as a “Clean Ocean Business”.
