UFOs Have Visited Earth on a Spiritual Mission, Man Tells Captivated Santa Cruz Audience

McNair Ezzard talked about an out-of-this-world subject.

The space people are real and they have visited earth more often than imagined, McNair Ezzard told a packed house at the Louden Nelson Community Center Saturday afternoon.

More than 150 people packed the room to hear him speak and view films of UFO sightings. (Ezzard, who showed up 10 minutes late, could have used an otherworldly craft himself.)

“The space people are here on a mission to help humanity” said Ezzard.

For years,  people all over the world claimed to have seen a UFO hover or zip across the naked sky and most even have pictures or film to prove it, he said.

Ezzard’s experience came one night at a Los Altos hotel balcony where he said he saw steady lights under some clouds and in a flash the object disappeared.

The crowded room saw video clips from all over the world of crop circles and what seem to look like moving stars. But according to Ezzard it’s the space people who are up there to keep a watchful eye on earth.

One video clip from a city in China showed a bright flying object that stood still, gave a few quick flashes and then in an instant blasted its way upwards. Members of the crowd gasped in amazement.

Ezzard said he has been under the guidance of esotericist Benjamin Creme who is also a firm believer of visitors from different planets.  Creme also believes in what he calls the current world teacher who goes by the single name, Maitreya.

“If he [Maitreya] was here right now, he has so much energy this room would explode.” said Ezzard.

Maitreya gave his first interview in 2010 disguised as a human, Creme said. Maitreya was heralded by the discovery of a new star in 2008, he has said.

Other topics Ezzard discussed were world hunger, the economy and how greedy the West is compared to other nations of the world.

He also mentioned places called Crosses of Light and Healing Waters where people drink water from wells that cures them from  illnesses such as cancer and AIDS.

Well, we can't always present both sides, but I figured the other 59,850 people in Santa Cruz have a good idea about the other side. Then again, some people believe in the myth of a Jewish guy born from a virgin who walked on water, so you can never tell what people will think.

As one of the volunteers for the international volunteer network that sponsored Sunday's event I appreciate the content of the previous comments. The intent of this event and the others sponsored by our network is to spark just such a conversation, not to convince anyone of anything, a point that is addressed with emphasis at the beginning of all our presentations. I would like to make a few corrections, for one, the speaker, McNair Ezzard, was present well in advance of the 1:30 pm start time. The unanticipated size of the overflow attendance necessitated some physical adjustments. Also, the World Teacher, Maitreya, was not said to be "disguised as a human" but, according to our information and the speakers repeated wording, is in a physical body. He continues to give interviews around the world.

For the sake of hoping some others join this conversation: I have a pretty lengthy resume in weird things, hence my blog, but I found the talk to be weird beyond my comfort level. Researching the organization behind the talk I found many inconsistencies that raised my red flag that this "talk" was really about pushing forth the non-profits agenda that a 35-year-old 6 footer male with no belly button who lives in London is the messiah. My research also shows that the ONE TV interview that was done was identified was not Maitreya. As 2012 progesses more and more people are going to come forward with the "truth,"---perhaps faith should be combined with logic, reason and common sense.

Pinched Optics, Difraction Patterns, Tube Currents, and Aberrations of a Poorly Collimated Telescope: I'm not going to get into the extraterrestrial debate, but I have to say that when I saw the photograph of the "Stars of the World" poster that was apparently on display at the lecture I had to laugh just a little as I imagine any amateur astronomer would. http://www.backyardastronomy.com/Backyard_Astronomy/Downloads_files/Appendix%20A-Testing.pdf http://www.cloudynights.com/documents/aberrations.pdf http://www.telescope-optics.net/diffraction_pattern_and_aberrations.htm Look vaguely familiar???????????

I am hoping Maitreya is now appearing in the guise of Rick Santorum: would it be wonderful if he "exploded" during the debate tonight?
