Healing the Spiritual Clutter we Inherit from our Ancestors

When someone dies they leave behind physical things - their belongings. They also leave behind intangible things such as beliefs and unresolved issues.

I attended the Celebrating Ancestral Wisdom conference in San Francisco this past weekend. Having done a good amount of work with spirits in the last decade, I know that it is very common for us to unconsciously manage our spiritual inheritance.

Just like clutter in the garage that you get after an ancestor dies, there are layers of spiritual inheritance that include the knowledge acquired through personal transformation as well as the unresolved issues that were not brought to resolution… energies you want and energies you don’t.

My challenge to you this week is to explore what you have inherited that may be holding you back. Release any story around the energy you are noticing. Allow yourself to give that energy back to the Universe. Appreciate those energies as a source of personal growth while recognizing that it is not your work to do. Give yourself the gift of an unobstructed path.

To the ancestors,
Kimberly

P.S. Sometimes our spiritual inheritances are difficult to unravel on our own. In fact, the influence of our ancestors on our lives may cause anxiety or depression! It helps to get another perspective. My wellness mastermind group is designed to facilitate the inner healing that is required for the body and mind to find peace. The group is intimate enough to build a trusted circle of support, yet large enough for you to learn from several people each going through their process at the same time. I facilitate the group and guide you using the wisdom I’ve gained in my own healing journey as well as the skills I’ve gained in working with hundreds of others.
