President Obama, in response to pressure from the Pentagon, the CIA and unthinking Congress critters, proposes to unilaterally attack the sovereign nation of Syria, based on trumped up, undocumented charges that the Assad military used chemical weapons to attack Al-Qu'ida supported rebels attempting to militarily overthrow the Assad government.
It is unconscionable, unconstitutional and immoral for the United States government to attack a sovereign nation that offers no threat to the United States. It poorly serves the United States government and the people of the United States to intervene in a civil war in the Middle East, a civil war supported and supplied by various external interested parties, such as the US CIA, Al Qu'ida, the Muslim Brotherhood, Saudi intelligence chief Prince Bandar bin Sultan, and US arms manufacturers.
President Obama is on notice for his attack on Libya despite a resounding denial from Congress. If he ignores Congress once again and attacks Syria without Congressional approval, he is at serious risk for impeachment.
